Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Faurea speciosa - Small robust tree up to 8 m high. Leaves leathery, veins prominent underneath, hairless when mature, often somewhat wavy, up to 18 cm long x 7 cm wide. Inflorescence massive, downy throughout, up to 20 cm long x 5 cm diam at maturity. Flowers ivory coloured, unopened buds c 2 cm long. Fruits grey-woolly.
