Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Pachystigma latifolium - Stems erect, herbaceous or scarcely woody, seldom branched, very sparsely hairy. Leaves in pairs or threes, stalk very short; blade oval, paler below, blunt, up to 8 cm long x 4,5 cm wide. Flowers few in short inflorescences in axils of lowest leaves. Calyx tube very short, lobes strap-shaped, up to 8 mm long, greenish; corolla cream, tube c 4 mm long, lobes about same.
