Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Aster subulatus - Erect, branching, slightly woody, up to 40 cm high, almost or quite hairless. Leaves few, stalkless, up to 6 cm long x 3 mm wide. Slender axillary shoots bear short leaves and one or few flower-heads c 1,5 cm diam; involucral bracts narrow, pointed, membrane-edged, c 5 mm long; rayflorets whitish, c 7 mm long; disc-florets several, yellow.

Notes:
