Comments: Occurs throughout the country in the highveld, middleveld, lowveld and Lubombo regions. Previously unrecorded, currently twelve localities recorded. Sympatric with P. anchietae over much of the latter's range and sympatric with P. porosissima in parts of (R.C. Boycott, 1992)
