Comments: Occurs in the middleveld, lowveld and Lubombo regions, absent from the highveld. Previously unrecorded except for photograph in Passmore and Carruthers (1979). Currently eight localities recorded. A population of these frogs occurs in Piggs Peak (at 990 m (R.C. Boycott, 1992)
