Comments: Occurs in the lowveld and Lubombo regions, absent from the middleveld and highveld. Previously unrecorded except for photographs (as Bufo vertebralis fenoulheti) in Passmore and Carruthers (1979) and more recently confirmed by a number of sight records (J (R.C. Boycott, 1992)
