Comments: Occurs in the highveld and middleveld regions, absent from the lowveld and Lubombo regions. Previously unrecorded, currently four localities recorded. The subspecies is endemic to South Africa and Swaziland. The taxonomic status of this form is being revi (R.C. Boycott, 1992)
