Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Eriospermum porphyrovalve - Tuber produces up to four delicate leaves, shortly stalked above ground, tip pointed, edges somewhat wavy; up to c four inflorescences, usually less than 15 cm high, bearing flowers nearly to bottom of axis which tends to be zigzag; lower flower-stalks elongating more than upper; perianth segments yellow, c 4 mm long.
