Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Sansevieria guineensis - (Sitfokofoso) Tufts of erect very rigid leaves arise from ground, lance-shaped, up to 45 cm long x 6 cm wide, with entire horny margin and sharp point, surfaces usually marbled, occasionally plain, midrib indistinct. Flowering axis stout, 30 cm long with few clasping bracts, ending in copiously densely flowered inflorescence up to 45 cm high. Flowers stalkless, in clusters, white, cream or ivory, segments narrow, loose, c 2 cm long; stamens protruding. Fruits fleshy, orange coloured, c 1 cm diam.
