Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Cyrtanthus stenanthus - Bulb c 2 cm or more diam. Leaves narrow, solitary, developing after inflorescence. Inflorescence axis c 30 cm high. Bracts membranous, narrow, 3—4 cm long. Flowers eight or fewer, erect or slightly nodding and turned to one side; stalks c 1 cm long. Perianth yellow, narrow tubular, up to 5 cm long, only expanding slightly to mouth which is c 5 mm diam, segments small, blunt, spreading.
