Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Polystachya pubescens - Similar to P. ottoniana, but pseudobulbs closely matted together. Leaves usually two, lance-shaped, pointed, up to c 5 cm long X 1 cm wide. Main axis and branches shortly hairy; flowers 1—5 per plant. Perianth varies from white, fading cream, to brownish-orange; sepals c 8 mm long, pointed with few hairs; petals c 5 mm long; lip c 7 mm long, three-lobed.
