Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Polycarpaea corymbosa - Erect, up to 30 cm high; stems downy. Leaves in clusters at nodes, up to 2 cm long x 1 mm wide, pointed, almost hairless, with thin membranous basal scales. Flowers very numerous, in much-forked terminal more or less flat-tipped inflorescences. Sepals five, membranous, white, c 6 mm long, tapering to narrow point. Petals five, shorter than sepals. Stamens five. Ovary one-chambered with few ovules. Fruit dry, splitting into three portions.
