Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Thalictrum rhynchocarpum - Perennial. Graceful, much-branched, hairless. Stems very slender. Leaves alternate, suggesting maiden-hair-fern; pairs of leaflets widely spaced, each leaflet again divided into three separate or joined bluntly lobed portions, texture thin, slightly greyish underneath. Inflorescence loosely branched, branches very Long, thread-Like, individual flowers very small. Sepals four, petals absent. Fruit of single carpel on stalk c 3 mm long, tapering to both ends c 5 mm lone, one edge straighter than other, ribbed, long-pointed.
