Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Annona senegalensis - (Umtelemba) Much branched shrub, downy on young stems and undersides of leaves. Leaves alternate, simple, stalk c 1—1,5 cm long; blade broadly oval, rather square at base, blunt, veins prominent below up to 9 cm long x 7 cm wide. Sepals three, petals six in two rings, outer petals triangular, thick, hard, white or cream inside. Stamens numerous. Carpets numerous, uniting with receptacle to form fleshy false fruit c 3 cm long X 2 cm diam.
