Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Drosera burkeana - Leaves all basal, forming rosette pressed to ground, spoon-shaped, stalk widening gradually to round blade up to 1 cm diam, usually less, reddish, bearing along edges and on surface numerous red thread-like tentacles each with glistening glandular tip. Inflorescences one or few per plant, erect, up to 18 cm high, usually less, unbranched, tip curled backwards, bearing series of erect short-stalked flowers; calyx c 5 mm long; corolla c 1 cm diam, magenta or pink.
