Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Crassula rubicunda - Perennial, branched only just above woody rootstock. Stems simple, often reddish, up to c 30 cm high. Leaves mostly basal, up to c 5 cm long x 1 cm wide, but very variable; stem-leaves in several pairs, gradually smaller. Stems, leaf-margin and sepal-margins fringed with short trans­parent hairs, otherwise hairless. Inflorescence much branched, somewhat flat-topped, up to c 5 cm diam, with numerous erect flowers. Sepals and petals erect, narrow, pointed; sepals c 4 mm long; petals c 6 mm long, red or crimson.
