Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Agrimonia odorata - Perennial, herbaceous. Stem erect, up to 1 m high. Leaves alternate, pinnately divided; leaflets 3—4 lateral pairs and one terminal, blunt-tooted, lance-shaped, c 5 cm long x 1,5 cm wide, hairy, common leaf-stalk also bears several small leaf-like lobes. Flowers spaced out in long dense narrow terminal inflorescences up to 40 cm long. Calyx tube with five segments, covered with hooked bristles, hardening round ripe fruits. Petals five, bright yellow, spreading, c 5 mm long.
