Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Cnestis natalensis - Stems twining, becoming hard and woody. Stems, leaf-stalks, underside of leaflets and sepals downy. Leaves without stipules, up to 12 cm long with c eight pairs of leaflets and a terminal leaflet, all similar in shape and mostly in size, oval, c 3 cm long X 1,3 cm wide. Sepals oval, c 3 mm long. Petals about as long but narrower, cream-coloured. Stamens ten, free. Ovary of five carpels, each with one or two seeds.
