Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Lotononis uniflora - Perennial. Slender, straggling or half-erect, much branched from woody rootstock, silky-hairy throughout. Leaves well-spaced on thin unrib­bed stems, stalks c 1 cm long, leaflets much longer than wide, tapering to both ends, c 2,5 cm long x 3 mm wide. Flowers solitary, lateral, on slender stalks up to 1,5 cm long. Calyx c 1,1 cm long, lobes long-pointed. Corolla pale yellow, c 1,5 cm long, with few hairs. Pod flattened, curved, c 3 cm long >( 3 mm wide, pointed at both ends.
