Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Indigofera tristoides - Attractive openly much-branched, slender-stemmed shrub, thinly hairy in all pans. Leaf-stalk very short; leaflets c five pairs, well-spaced, spreading, flat, oblong, blunt-tipped, c 1 cm long x 3 mm wide. Flowers few in short raceme at end of stalk c 3 cm long; calyx c 2 mm long; corolla red, lake or bright pink, c 1,2 cm long, standard and keel hairy.
