Global Distribution: Endemic to Limpopo Mpumalanga Eswatini Escarpment centre of endemism

Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Indigofera crebra - Densely leafy shrub. Leaves very short-stalked, mostly with three leaflets c 1,5 cm long x 5 mm wide, with long fine-pointed tip, margins and midrib bearing stiff bristles. Inflorescences short, hidden among leaves; calyx lobes very slender, pointed; corolla lake or rose-pink, c 1 cm long, about equalled by calyx lobes.
