Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Indigofera densa - Perennial. Branches slender, erect, shrublike, stems almost hairless. Leaves short-stalked with c five narrow leaflets c 1 cm long x 2 mm wide, slightly silky-hairy. Inflorescences in axils of upper leaves, few-flowered; calyx very short, lobes triangular, blunt; corolla conspicuous, c 1,5 cm long, scarlet or lake, keel hairy along edge.
