Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Grewia flava - Shrub, leaves and young stems finely densely velvety-hairy throughout, lower leaf surface paler; leaf-stalk c 3 mm long; blade oval, minutely and inconspicuouly toothed, c 3 cm long x 1 cm wide. Flowers two or three on short axillary stalk; petals yellow, c 1 cm long or longer, somewhat exceeding sepals. Fruit fleshy.
