Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Ochna natalitia - (Isifubasangala) Small tree often dwarfed, hair­less throughout. Stems round with numerous pale lenticels. Leaf-stalk c 2 mm long; blade usually lance-shaped, tapering to blunt tip but not to stalk, distInctly toothed, c 8 cm long x 2 cm wide. Inflorescences scented, sometimes elongated at end of lateral short shoots, sometimes of only a few flowers; stalk c 7 mm long; petals yellow, c 7 mm long x 4 mm wide; fruits black, fleshy on bright red thickened base. Plants often have conspicuous red leafy insect-galls.
