Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Lasiosiphon caffer - Erect, slender, little-branched, stems rising from woody base, up to 50 cm high. Stems covered with pale hairs. Leaves very short-stalked, thinly hairy, green, not silvery; lower well-separated, narrow-oval, up to 3 cm long x 1 cm wide, blunt; upper closer, narrower, pointed. Flowers few (less than ten) in head, sometimes surrounded by slightly wider leaves; calyx tube densely white-hairy, c 1,5 cm long, lobes pale yellow, c 7 mm long, hairy outside, almost hairless above; petals minute.
