Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Erica woodii - Irregular shrublet, seldom more than 40 cm high. Leaves crowded on short lateral branches, c 3 mm long, often more or less open-backed, bristly. Flowers numerous, along lateral branches. Sepals c 1 mm long, shortly bristly; corolla dull pink, c 2 mm long, slightly wider, open-mouthed; anthers visible; style protruding beyond corolla, stigma knob-shaped.
