Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Adenium obesum - Up to 3 m high, with swollen succulent stems which branch sparingly. Leaves clustered at ends of branches, succulent, up to 12 cm long x 8 cm wide, tapering below to short stalk, tip blunt. Inflorescence terminal, few-flowered; flowers often appearing while stem leafless. Calyx lobes c 1 cm long, pointed; corolla lobes white or pale pink with a conspicuously darker pink margin, up to 2 cm long; anther with hairy tail up to 2 cm long at tip. Fruit of two spreading parts up to 15 cm long and 1,2 cm diam. Seeds with tuft of brownish hairs up to 2 cm long at each end.
