Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Ipomoea bolusiana - Branches trailing with spaced leaves, bearing short erect densely leafy lateral flowering shoots. Very thinly hairy. Leaf-stalk c 1 cm long; blade divided into three narrow lobes, up to 6 cm long X 3 mm wide, central lobe longest. Flower erect, stalk short; calyx lobes narrow, c 1 cm long; corolla funnel-shaped, c 4 cm long, c 4 cm diam at mouth, pink, magenta or purple.
