Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Nemesia melissaefolia - Much-branched, hairless, up to 50 cm high. Leaves shortly or not stalked, broadest just above base, which sometimes clasps stem, tapering to narrow tip, margins with numerous pointed forward-directed prominent teeth, up to 6 cm long X 3 cm wide. Flowers in lax irregular terminal inflorescence, singly or in loose clusters; flower-stalk c 8 mm long, elongating in fruit. Calyx c 4 mm long; corolla white, lips c 5 mm long, spur curved, blunt, c 4 mm long. Fruit flattened, blunt, c 9 mm long x 5 mm wide.
