Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Nidorella auriculata - Erect, single-stemmed, up to 2 m high, thinly roughhairy throughout. Leaves stalkless, blade oval or lance-shaped, base eared and partly clasping stem, pointed, margins distinctly or strongly toothed (teeth occasionally absent), up to c 5 cm long x 3 cm wide. Inflorescence region widely branching, flower-heads numerous in compact clusters, c 5 mm diam; involucral bracts c 2 mm long; ray-florets c 4 mm long; disc-florets numerous.
