Description (Compton's Flora of Swaziland*):
Senecio lygodes - Slender, erect, single-stemmed, up to 1 m high; hairless throughout. Leaves elongated, narrow, tapering to both ends, toothless, margins recurved, lowest up to 25 cm long x 1 cm wide. Inflorescence of few long-stalked flower-heads; involucral bracts numerous, narrow, in several rows, inner bracts c 1 cm long; disc c 2 cm diam; ray-florets present; corollas yellow.
