      Medicinal: Medicinal for stomach disorders.
      Food: Edible fruit
Halleria
   lucida    (Tree Fuschia)  liminta,  londomela,  umbindza,  umbinta,  umbita,  umhlahlakanya,  umminta,
      Cultural: Charm against evil. Twigs & plants burnt as sacrifice to ancestral spirits. With Rhamnus prinoides protects village from wizards.
      Fodder: Fodder & forage
      Firewood: Can start fire by friction.
      Household: Sticks, handles & spear shafts.
      Medicinal: Medicinal for ear and skin complaints.
      Food: Edible sweet fruit

      Medicinal: Used for bruises, nasal problems & mental disturbances

      Food: Used as food by the Pedi.

      Medicinal: Crushed leaves as a poultice for sore eyes.
      Food: Used as spinach by some.

      Household: Fencing stakes and fishing baskets.
      Medicinal: Fruit & roots are emetic
      Food: Tasty edible fruit.

      Cultural: Prevents lightning striking homestead.
      Medicinal: Medicinal. Emetic to stop pains in body

      Cultural: Used to invoke goodwill of ancestorsand by diviners to induce trance.

      Medicinal: Poultice for chest, head, fevers & burns. Roots for otitis.
      Food: Herbal teas. Leaves also eaten.
