Conserving Eswatini's Natural and Cultural Heritage

Our logo is adapted from a painting by Phillip Dlamini, 1998, of a purple crested turaco. In traditional Swazi dress, the red feathers feature in the royal headdress, so this bird illustration is not only a symbol for wildlife conservation, but also of cultural heritage.
Other protected areas within Swaziland include Hlane, Mkhaya and Mlilwane (run by Big Game Parks), Phophonyane Conservancy, Emantini Nature Reserve, Lomati Nature Reserve, Libetse Nature Reserve and Lubuyane Nature Reserve (private, proclaimed), Muti Muti, Mbuluzi, Mhlosinga, Nisela (private, unproclaimed) and Shewula Community Nature Reserve, (managed by the Shewula Trust, a committee elected from community members).
