Conserving Eswatini's Natural and Cultural Heritage

Our logo is adapted from a painting by Phillip Dlamini, 1998, of a purple crested turaco. In traditional Swazi dress, the red feathers feature in the royal headdress, so this bird illustration is not only a symbol for wildlife conservation, but also of cultural heritage.

Mlawula - Siphiso Campsite

The Siphiso Campsite at Mlawula Nature Reserve is designed for caravans and camping. It consists of a thatched ablution building with showers, baths, washbasins and toilets and a very spacious area with taps and braai facilities. Shade is provided by indigenous trees and two thatched summer houses. The sites have electricity available at each site.

The campsite is not fenced, so the animals often wander through the camp. Birdwatching in the campsite is excellent, and there is also a bird hide situated in the corner of the campsite.
