Our logo is adapted from a painting by Phillip Dlamini, 1998, of a purple crested turaco. In traditional Swazi dress, the red feathers feature in the royal headdress, so this bird illustration is not only a symbol for wildlife conservation, but also of cultural heritage.
The picnic site at Malolotja is situated not far from the main entrance, and has a number of tables and braai areas in amongst wooded rock outcrops, with views out over the reserve. There are toilets available.
The picnic site is also the start of the day walk (Upper Majolomba Walk) which goes down into the upper Majolomba valley, and loops around to join the Nkomati Viewpoint road, back to the picnic site.
