Problem Species


Two of the most problematic species are Lantana camara and Chromolaena odorata, which have spread up the rivers and have formed dense thickets along the riverbanks and adjacent areas.

Cutting and applying herbicide


To remove the Lantana and Chromolaena, it is necessary to not only cut down the plants, but to also apply herbicide to the cut stems to prevent regrowth.
