Malolotja Nature Reserve - Directions

Malolotja Nature Reserve is located in north western Swaziland, on the Motjane/Piggs Peak road. The closest borders are the Ngwenya/Oshoek Border (open from 07h00 to 22h00) and the Matsamo/Jeppes Reef Border (open from 08h00 to 20h00). The reserve is about 40 km from Mbabane and 80 km from Manzini. The closest town is Simunye.

Directions from Ngwenya/Oshoek Border:

From the border go straight for 150 m, then at the roundabout, get onto the highway (MR3) towards Mbabane. After 5.6 km, take the exit towards MR1 (Piggs Peak road). At the end of the exit, turn left onto MR1. After 17.7 km, turn left to the Malolotja entrance gate.

Directions from Matsamo/Jeppes Reef Border:

From the border, take the road (MR1) towards Piggs Peak. Passing straight through Piggs Peak, travel for 68.5 km from the border, then turn right to the Malolotja entrance.

Directions from Lavumisa/Gollela Border:

Take the road (MR8) north from the border for 130 km. At the T-junction, turn left onto MR3. Stay on MR3 through Manzini. After 55.6 km, take the exit to MR1 (Piggs Peak road), turning right at the end of the exit. After 17.8 km, turn left to the Malolotja entrance gate.
