Mlawula Nature Reserve: Fishes

Mlawula Nature Reserve has one major river, the Mbuluzi River, along its northern boundary, one permanent smaller river, the Mlawula River, which would be seasonal if not for the drainage from the sugar plantantions, and the rest of the rivers and streams with in the reserve are seasonal.

According to the "Threatened Vertebrates of Swaziland", 2003, none of the fish species listed for Mlawula Nature Reserve fall into the critically endangered, endangered, vulnerable or near threatened categories.
