Malolotja cabins
Malolotja cabins

Malolotja offers 10 self-catering cabins, fully equipped, including bedding and towels. Two cabins accommodate five people in each (two bedrooms, one with two single beds, one with a single and a bunk bed), the rest accommodating four people in each (two bedrooms with two single beds in each). There is also a restaurant and bar located next to the cabins, open from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm for breakfast and light meals.

Accommodation at Mlawula includes the Magadzavane Lodge, a forty bed lodge with furnished en-suite units, restaurant, bar, conference centre and swimming pool. Situated 15km away from Siteki on the edge of the Lubombo escarpement, near the Goba/Mhlumeni border, the lodge has spectacular views of the valley below.

Also available at Mlawula is the Maphelephele Cottage, which has been upgraded to sleep eight, with two upper (baboon-proofed) sleeping porches with a double bed on each, in addition to the two rooms inside, with two twin beds in each. The cottage includes full bath, sitting room with fireplace, braai area, gas hot water, oven/stove and refrigerator. The cottage now has electricity. Kitchen utensils, bedding and towels supplied.

SARA Tented Camp

SARA Tented Camp has been upgraded, including 6 luxury safari tents, two of them with en suite bathrooms and two twin beds, and four tents with queen double beds. There is also a separate ablution block, kitchen area and boma. This camp has electricity.

Accommodation at Mantenga consists of 24 chalets. The chalets are fully equipped, and the luxury tent is equipped with a fridge, ceiling fan, bedding and towels, shower, basin and toilet. Meals are available at the restaurant.

Campsites


The main campsite at Malolotja includes 15 sites each with braai facilities, plus a communal braai area and ablution block with hot water.

There are 19 backpacking camps, each one consisting of a clearing situated near water.

Siphiso Camp, Mlawula
Siphiso Camp, Mlawula

The Siphiso Campsite at Mlawula Nature Reserve is designed for caravans and camping. It consists of a thatched ablution building with showers, baths, washbasins and toilets and a very spacious lawn area with taps and braai facilities. Shade is provided by indigenous trees and two thatched summer houses. The sites have electricity available at each site.

Mantenga Nature Reserve offers a picnic site situated near the base of the Mantenga Falls.

Picnicking is allowed at various attractive sites within Mlawula Nature Reserve.
